  • "I can say truthfully that durrumbul preschool is the absolute jewel in the crown. I was an educator and room leader at durrumbul for almost 10 years and it was such a rewarding experience. I have had the pleasure of seeing multiple children from the same family come through the gates .The outside play area is larger than any other preschool I have visited locally and is full of fruit trees and veggie gardens. The children spend a lot of time outside in the giant sandpit Or planting flowers and looking for frogs….child driven interest and play based learning. The craft activities are a large part of the day and cooking etc.During my time working there the preschool upgraded the play equipment and the indoor environment to be top notch but not loosing the unique durrumbul warmth. The community spirit is very strong between the parents/extended family and carers who’s children attend and many strong lasting friendships have been formed (kids and adults)..the experienced staff are wonderful and regular…whether your child needs settling,..or additional support …staff are available,and for the older children there’s stimulating activities and readying your child for big school transition. I highly recommend a visit to have a look for your self what a super special environment this preschool can provide for your family …one of a kind."
